Creating holistic ecosystems
Collective Design Lab envisions a future where liberatory design practices are the gold standard in design, urban planning, and architecture. We champion designers of color who will create the spaces and culture required to transform economic, climate, and racial injustice in Colorado and beyond.
Aleiya Evison comes to design with a background in Ethnic Studies and Political Science from the University of Oregon (B.A. 2018). Originally from Colorado, she is passionate about storytelling, design justice, and the radical imagination. These passions were fomented during her studies at the Harvard Graduate School of Design in the Art, Design, and the Public Domain Program (MDes 2020). Her work as a consultant, designer, and facilitator is rooted in a lens of healing, joy, and belonging.
